It was a great location near Asilomar beach and pinos lighthouse, check in was easy and guy who checked us in was friendly. Breakfast was in brown paper bag, a bar, orange, juice and small muffin. Room was clean but I was turned off when I saw the baseboards in and around the bathroom. They were almost peeling off and looked water damaged. Our room had a view of the cemetery next door, which was totally unexpected đł the whole row of rooms on our side had the cemetery view. Nice place to stay but a few things to consider,
The room was clean and had no problem with that. The tv was a little small but not that important on a 1 night stay. Overall it was a good experience and will return.
We had the cottage room 323 and you can not open some of the windows due the device that you have to turn to Open them being broke. The toilet clogged on us and would not flush the morning of us checking out.
I booked this place because it had above A 8/10 on hotels.com, but in reality this is a very mediocre, overpriced place to stay. The bathroom was tiny and the door opened inwards, so it was hard to get in and out. The room was on the ground floor and had a sliding door window that faced the parking lot so if you opened the curtains other guests were looking straight into your room. The pool was sad and the hot tub jets didnât work. The place in general needs a refresh. We paid $250-$300 per night for a room with 2 double beds and it was a ripoff. Unless the price is way lower, spend your money somewhere else.
I absolutely love the lighthouse Lodge. The staff was amazing and they upgraded my room. However, I wish I wouldâve been on one of the top lodges. I felt like there was not much airflow on the bottom. Other than that, it was amazing. I will definitely stay there again.
Location was great - close to beach and golf and downtown PG. Room was very nice with comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean but a little small. Breakfast was great - hot food, big selection. No electric car charger. Will stay here again.
