Pros: Clean, comfortable bed, heating, fully stocked kitchen, within a walking distance to city center.
Cons: Lacking ventilation in the bedroom, Sleeping is challenging due to creaking floor from the upstairs apartment (you can hear every for footstep), patio chairs outside are unusable since there is no cover against the rain.
This is a nice location in Oban. A short, 5 minute walk will get you to the center of town. The house sits up on a hill so although close, it is a steep climb from town. This location does afford you a nice view of the bay. The apartment is small but well equipped and clean. It is located in a walkout basement in the ownerâs house. There is a small outside table on the side of the house to enjoy the view of the bay. The owners were friendly and helpful.
This is a perfect location in a Oban. A short walk will get you to the center of town. The apartment was well equipped and clean. We enjoyed our stay ver much.
This is a lovely property. Really well furnished and comfortable. A real find!
Very friendly contact from the owner prior to our stay. We loved it and would definitely stay here again.
Lovely apartment for our weekend visit to Oban for a 60th birthday surprise. The Coorie is well named. Just a short walk down hill to town centre and ferry port. Sofa a bit small/uncomfortable but didn't spoil the weekend as we were out exploring most of the time. Dogs welcome and our Cocker also had a great time.
This is a lovely apartment and is well situated for a 5 minute stroll to the town centre. Our little dog was with us as well. Parking was on street opposite apartment and is quite tight but we got a space every night. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights and made the most of them with outings to Glencoe, Mull and Iona and also the train from Fort William to Mallaig which takes you over the Glenfinnan viaduct from the Harry Potter films. The Jacobite Express steam train is back up and running twice daily on this line and can be booked online. Overall we had a great staycation.
