A lovely stay. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast very good. No air conditioning and rooms were stuffy - one to avoid in the summer! Very pet friendly and good location.

Excellent stay at a great manor-style hotel! the personnel are very great and will do anything to improve your stay. In particular, the English breakfast was simply exceptional, with possibility to tailor-it to your preferences! The parking, while tight, was very useful after a day of travelling. Excellent bathroom and comfortable beds. No Air Conditioning but even if we were on hot summer days, we slept well by using the ventilator and opening slightly the window. Cheltenham is well paced to visit the Cotswolds, Oxford, Bath or day trips to Birmingham or London. We strongly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful, historic building, with lovely, tastefully decorated rooms. The staff were very helpful. Good breakfast was included in the room price. We were there during a heatwave and the room stayed uncomfortably warm all night, but I do not fault the hotel for this. Would definitely stay again, though perhaps not in midsummer. 😄
