Rittenhouse 1715 is truely a Boutique Hotel where you can experience how small can be beautiful and far from the superficiality of the big chains of hotels. Every detail counts and you understand that you will be in touch with real humans in a warmful environment. Everyone is nice and wants your stay to be unique. This mansion is a very good address particularly if you're there for Business reasons. You can resource in a gentle atmosphere as if you were at home.
Our flight got canceled and we stayed in Philly for the night. Found The Franklin on Hotels.com for a good rate and took a chance. We were so pleasantly surprised. We stayed in one of the apartment-style roomsâI loved the interior design. Beautiful and new. Will definitely stay next time Iâm in town!
Upon check in we had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to even arrive at the front desk to help us. Room was outdated. Bathroom and shower were great. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet. Overall a little pricy for what you get.
We came at 4:00 pm when our room was supposed to be ready. It was not. The room had a broken window and one that would not close. The first night was very noisy. Our room was right by the elevator, so we heard everything.
Hotel Review
I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be an overall decent option for travelers. The location is fantastic, making it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. One of the highlights of my stay was the quality of the products provided, such as the sheets, towels, and soap, which felt luxurious and added a nice touch to my experience. Additionally, the breakfast offered a good selection of items to start the day.
However, I did encounter a couple of downsides during my stay. The room was quite small, which made it a bit cramped for my liking. Moreover, I was surprised to find that there was no air conditioning, which can be a significant drawback, especially during warming season. Overall, while the hotel has its perks, potential guests should consider these factors before booking.
My husband and I love this boutique hotel. It only has 20 rooms and each is decorated differently. The front desk folks and those who staff the breakfast (free) room are always professional and friendly. Rooms are very clean and beds are very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located to Rittenhouse Square where we often visit our son. Definitely give it a try!
This property is staffed with individuals with lack of knowledge or skill is hospitality. Rooms are not as advertised. They are below average in appearance. Outlet and light didnât work in one corner of the room. The rooms were hot and there is no AC in each room. Hotel staff did not know how to make the room cooler. Awful sleeping conditions and overall lack of care for the customer comfort or enjoyment . The parking garage on the website in not convenient if you have luggage and cash only, avoid that garage. There is a parking out right in front of the hotel but they donât want hotel guest parking there. Overall this was one of the worst hotel in Philly that Iâve stayed at and by far does not live up to the standards of the rest of the Rittenhouse hotels. Dot not stay there for more than $75. There are nicer, better staffed low end chain hotels
