$12 parking fee to park in an open, unsecured public lot shared with a shopping mall and fast food restaurants. Money grab by Courtyard Marriott. No included breakfast. No pool. Sofabed linens were not in the room, we had to go to the front desk to pick them up. Otherwise, the hotel was fairly quiet and reasonably clean. Iâd book elsewhere next time to avoid the fake parking fee and maybe get some free toast and coffee in the morning.
The room appeared clean but as we got ready to get into the bed, we noticed body hair in the bed. The second thing we noticed was a stain on the comforter, a coffee stain that was sticky and smelled like coffee. When we went to the front desk, she informed us that she was the only staff there and couldnât change the bedding for us but could give us bedding to change ourselves. The bedding she handed us were to flat sheets. So we had to sleep between two flat sheets, no comforter and were really paranoid about if the pillowcases were changed over. We asked her to leave a note for management to contact us in the morning but they did not.
Had a great experience! Very friendly staff at both the front desk and food area. One comment regarding the front desk: Maybe if no one is at the front desk, keep the door to the back office open so the employees back there can see if someone is waiting at the front desk. Would definitely stay again.
I booked a room for 3 nights. 1 of the friends I was to visit was unable to meet with me, family issues on his part . so 1 day in advance of my last night stay i was seeking a refund or an exchange for 1 night. Neither Marriott nor Hotels.com was able or willing to help. I probably will nor use a 3rd party to book a reservation in the future based upon neither party was willing to budge on a refund or exchange for another night!!
