The District Hotel is something I would recommend if you’re looking for an affordable stay in downtown DC. One of its biggest advantages is the price, plus it’s conveniently located near everything in the city. They provide basic essentials like an iron, ironing board, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The rooms are not very big, but if you’re looking for something budget-friendly, it works well.
As for the disadvantages, the room does not have a microwave, refrigerator, and the TV is quite small. However, I was happy to find that they have a small lobby area where guests can stay, with access to a microwave, tables, and chairs for eating. The front desk staff are also very nice and easy to talk to.
Overall, it’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay.
