Room was of good size, clean, quiet and comfortable. Bed one of the most comfortable I've slept on.
Located in an estate outside Exeter city, it is a good value stay on a road trip. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Pros:
- quiet
- rooms clean and comfortable
- food was good value and bar served great Guinness
Cons:
- parking cost
- Wifi awful
- no room service
Comfortable base for exploring the southwest corner of the UK. Had requested a high floor in my reservation but was placed below the lobby overlooking what seemed like the personnel parking lot, which was a bit of a bummer. Itâs the small things one does that can make an average impression a great one, and make one return. Hotel was definitely not full. Perhaps I got dinged for not making my reservation through their website or perhaps the lower priced rooms are just simply downstairs..
Fantastic stay, staff couldn't have been more helpful, nice food in the restaurant, easy checkin & checkout, free parking would of been nice but overall would definitely recommend
Have been here before and was good as expected. Sunday breakfast was a bit chaotic perhaps due to a large number of guests. Breakfast itself was tasty, although a mark is lost for no black pudding :-)
On departure, I asked when rooms became available for summer '26. The Receptionist said that she was not sure and I could check the website...
