Well-located near Termini, Santa Maria Maggiore and not far from the Colosseo Archeological park. Busy place and streets, lots of restaurants and bars around. The hotel itself is nice, with some « cachet » to it. Pretty and elegant. There is a rooftop bar with a gorgeous panorama, but - and it is a very disappointing feature - they play loud (and boring) music from 15 pm to 2 am. Honestly shameful towards the neighborhood, and disgracefully stupid as it disturbs the hotelâs own guests. Could not fall asleep very well.
Please be aware there is a bar / night club inside the hotel, with "private parties" some nights. If you have a room on the 1st floor, you will not be able to sleep until the party ends. Also we had to be very insistent to get the staff agree to change rooms.
Generally Ok. Price was reasonable, location very convenient to sights and public transport. Nice breakfast (could use more fresh fruit though)
On the negative side: tile floor and non adjustable temperature set to a minimum, made the stay somewhat uncormfortable. Hotel is on a busy noisy street. The room has two sets of double pane windows to cut the noise, the bath room has not. So the door needs to be shut to have a quiet place, but it prevents the little generated by the AC to enter the bathroom. Not a surprise to find out the bathroom is cold when you're trying to get ready for your day.
