Terribly disgusting room, non-smoking room doesnât even exist. We checked in and left an hour later and slept in the car for the night. Would not even allow our things to touch the floor or beds.
For the price itâs good specially if your visiting Virginia beach for couple days only but the room NO, dusty mirrors, blanket had a stain, and bathroom not clean had to spray it with bleach and the small fridge we had to wipe it thereâs mold on it in other words we had to clean the room in general, for breakfast they only offers bagel and coffee,
Hopefully they make some changes in the future
It wasnt all bad. Woke up with no water at all from around 5 am it 12pm. Not good when people are getting ready to go out for the day. Water bottle bath it was.
First noticed the smell when entering the room. Had to have my key restored multiple times which was a pain going up and down the stairs. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Would have left if I could have found a reasonable room rate at short notice. Mold issue should be reported to health dept.
The service was very good - kudos to Tera (she's very welcoming), Maintenace came quickly to address my issue. Positive interaction with all the staff. The furniture really needs to be updated (used & worn - not in an antique manner). The floor was swept, but needed mopping. My room could use a thorough cleaning (I used quite bit of Clorox wipes). The room was on the smaller size. Great location. With some needed renovations, this would be my go-to hotel when I visit Virginia Beach (I usually stay in an Airbnb).
