We were absolutely bowled over by The North Crest, which is best described as âa little gemâ. We received a warm welcome from Jim and were invited to enjoy Sueâs delicious home baking. The climb to the 2nd floor was well worth it, as the âEnchantmentâ Room was just perfect. Everything was 4 star: tasteful Laura Ashley dĂ©cor, quality furniture and soft furnishings, beautiful bed linen, complimentary water in the small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and sweets. The usual items were supplied (hairdryer, fluffy towels, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc.) but unexpected extras included cotton wool and make-up remover wipes. As if all of this wasnât enough, the full English breakfast, cooked by Sue and served by Jim was, in the words of Tina Turner, simply the best! Thank you, Sue and Jim, for making our 2 night stay so enjoyable.
