Alnmouth is a beautiful little village. The msin street is one way so to park on street you will have to follow the one way system.which takes you down to the links, then up past the golf course and around to the main street. We got there at about 2:30pm and drove around to find oarking. After 5 failed attempts, we decided to pop up to Alnwick for a bit and come back.
After our trip up the road, we parked on the links road at the bottom, in designated on road parking bays. There are steps up from this road (near the flats) that lead up to the village store, a few yards away from the Hope & Anchor. So we just left the car parked at the bottom and carried our bags up the stairs.
Check in was quick and courteous, we we were directed upstsirs to our room. It was beautifully decorated and furnished
The bedding was thick and luxurious, as were the towels. The bathroom was large as was the walk in shower. Tea tray had a selction of tea and coffee, with teo types of cookies to choose from.
