Although check in wasn't as smooth as we would have like and 2 of 3 rooms were ready (we were earlier than check-in) there were 3 in each room and the rooms were a really good size. The cafe/snack bar in reception was reasonably priced too. You could also get a kettle for your room. Minutes away from shops, bars and restaurants too.

Really enjoyed our stay at Catalonia Avinyo. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. Had my best coffee here and wines from the bar vary nice (and we're fussy). Very close to Leuce metro and La Rambla. Irish pub across the road served simple but delicious hamburgers when we were too tired to go further afield.

Overall, everything was great. We had two rooms and the kid's room was excellent (two teens, twin beds). The parents room was extremely humid for some reason. All of our clothes that we hung up for the 4 nughts and bed linens always felt damp. Our shower had the smallest of glass walls with no door and we couldn't shower unless we were up against the far wall and still everything got wet. Minor inconvenience but still a great stay.
