La Tala is lovely and very different. What I must comment is the difficulty in finding the place. The address given is far from adequate and directions are essential unless you are a local (and even some of those couldn't tell us where it was or how to find it!). My recommendation would be; head for Guadix Cathedral, then take the Ave. de Buenos Aires to the Motorway for Murcia. Stay on the motorway for only 1 km (approx) and on the right you will see a large 'Jamones' outlet. There is a small 'La Tala' sign (again, not prominent enough) and then you will find a gate. You need a code to get in if it isn't open and then follow the long driveway to the complex. Lovely when you find it ..... evntually BUT we lost two hours of our stay searching.
This is the third e-mail I have sent your company we did not stay at this place as reception was closed for three hours we waited to book in the whole place was deserted not another human being no where to get refreshment or any shade out of the sun left a note on the reception firmly locked door at 4.50pm advising we could wait no longer and would not expect to be charged for a no show by the hotelier trust you finally respond to my previous e-mails??
