How can you trust a compamy when they know our accomodation was a locked up terraced house. All enquiries we made to Hotel were all voicemail replies. We were left stcom tranded in Ayr.80 miles from home. Managed to get the last2 buses back to Dunfermline. Could make no contact with them .

Do not book. This hotel is closed and has been cleared out. We did not check the reviews as had stayed previously so knew not to expect much. But others have been scammed too. When we arrived there was no one around. No answer to the doorbell and phone going voicemail. I put a note through the door to call me about checkin but no response. We had to sleep in the car as unable to speak to anyone from hotels.com. No sign of life this morning and looking through the windows the place is empty of furniture. Now to try getting our money back

me and my partner went in and the place was run down the room was dirty the door was stiff wouldn't shut the window was cracked the pillows was ripped the toilet was needing a good clean me and my partner were lucky to book something else wee walked out couldn't stay there the owner stayed in the house next door were wee got the key it was very disappointing put it this way doesnt look like whats in the pictures showing on line a wouldn't recommend this place to anyone stay clear ....

Attitude

Ended up cancelling due to attitude of landlady who insisted guest needed to pay for the room even though I had a receipt and showed on my credit card statement. she put the phone down on me at one stage and was very abrupt. Had to get hotels.com customer service involved who were brilliant and sorted out a refund for me.
