Some of the staff were helpful and courteous. The WiFi worked. And the location was great. But it goes way downhill from there.
When I checked in, they told me I needed to walk a ways away to a different hotel, since they didn’t have room for me in the hotel I actually booked. They didn’t show me where to go, and I couldn’t find it. Eventually they had someone from the other hotel walk over to show me. Took an extra half hour. And this was at 3:30 am.
The room was the dirtiest one I’ve ever seen. The floor and the walls were covered in stains. Wallpaper was peeling off. Hair was in the sheets. And the curtains didn’t cover the full window.
I tried to sleep but kept getting awakened by loud noises all through the night. In the morning, the water in the shower was tepid.
After one night there, I told them I’d like to check out for all the reasons above. They refused. Eventually, they told me the best they could do was put me in a room in the original hotel I booked after one more night. So I ended up staying two nights in the wrong (dirty) hotel and two more in the original hotel.
The new room was definitely cleaner. But still had hair in the sheets and bright lights shining through the curtains throughout the night.
I definitely would not return. This seemed more like a few guys renting out rooms than an actual hotel. Worst experience at a “hotel” I’ve ever had.
