This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! It definitely made the 27-hour flight worth it. The hotel was always spotless, and the staff was incredibly courteous and friendly. We had a beautiful pool view room which was faultless. The three pools were wonderful, particularly the quiet pool with floating bean bags. The staff were so friendly and a great choice of superb food. The hotel is on a small private beach which was great for snorkelling. We had the all inclusive package which was great value for money. The hotel also operates a complimentary shuttle to Patong which is well worth a look. We couldn’t fault the hotel at all and can thoroughly recommend it.

The kids had a fantastic time, snorkeling and kayaking at the beach, foam party in the family pool. The hotel organizes plenty of activities and there’s a wide variety of food to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The resort is located on a hill, so we used Grab to get to Patong Beach. Overall, we definitely recommend this resort for families!

We had a fantastic stay at Marriott Merlin Beach. Staff were nice and attentive. Quick response to our requests. Good activities planned throughout the day for kids and adults plus live music/shows. Room was nice and clean with comfortable beddings. Food quality and variety was very good.
