I booked the Lansbury at short notice due to a big let down with a booking elsewhere. The Lansbury is very good indeed. There are no staff until you leave(cleaners) It is very easy to get hold of the owners though. It was a fairly quiet place too. Very central to all amenities. I would definitely stay again

It is in a great location for shopping, eating and town centre. Was clean and well presented with all the facilities needed for a stay.

Room was clean and comfy bed. Good location but the information about parking is misleading. You get a parking disc but these only cover you for up to 3 hours in the zones. We parked nearby for 24 hours which was £13.

The room itself was spacious but my bottom bedsheet was stained and the bathmat was badly strained also nowhere to hang the towels and no shelf in the bathroom apart from a cupboard which we couldn't use as badly stained underneath the very small sink plus 2 light bulbs not working!!

Great Summer Accomodation

it was a great experience in Lansbury-Whitby. The price is resonable for its location is walking distance to the beach and town centre.

Excellent stay

We booked last minute for bank holiday stay. Room no 7 had the most comfortable bed I think I’ve ever slept in ! The room had everything we needed & the added sleep was a welcome bonus.

Very clean. comfortable bed, lovely nights sleep, did not hear any noise and would definitely stay again, only thing I would have liked a small fridge.

Nice clean place, comfortable beds needs spare light bulbs provided or check as 2 blew whilst we were there.

The only problem was the shower hose had a rip and had gaffer tape on top but still leaked water everywhere and we had to take shower head off and use the ripped hose to have a clean while holding it

No where to hang clothes in the bathroom, so clothes got wet when putting them on the toilet seat, shower had black mould in sealant and no shelf in the shower itself. Tv remote was dirty. Bed matteress nearest the door was very noisy sounds like the springs are gone. Parking is a nightmare but free, most coast places are hard to park near the hotel. Good location for Pavillion and Harbour and cafes.

The room was located in an excellent position but I didn’t realise there was no reception and just a key safe to get your key , this made me feel uncomfortable but the room was very clean

Lovely spacious room. Very clean. Slight mix up with keys on arrival, but was sorted after phone call. Only minor grumble, advertised as having toiletries but there wasnt any.

The rooms were spotless but no shower gel or shampoo provided so make sure to take some. The big downside to this property is that if you have a problem you don’t get to speak to a person it is all automated. We were in room 3 and 4.4 was quite straightforward but three was 2 doors with keypads and the 2nd door we were told to turn the handle gently therefore we were at that door for a good 10 minutes before we finally cracked it which is not ideal a simple key would have been better. Also as we went through the main door all we could smell was weed and every time we went to the bathroom as the fans turned on the smell came again. This is not the property’s fault but just be aware in case it’s coming from nearby where someone lives and not tourists.

Great location , owner very responsive, walkable to everything. A portable fan for summertime would be a great addition for air circulation. Bring own shampoo.

definitely worth it

Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in.
