We have been staying at Thaba Eco for 3 years and my wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having said this, with the lockdown restrictions, the charm has changed, I.e. the vibe and energies from people was missing. One of the most impressive things
I think we must all be treated the same, I didn't like the way Xolani did when I checked in especially that I booked with my discount after the 10th stay and I really felt like I was given a room that was different and the porter was even surprised that I was given that room (325). I liked the hotel as I stayed there several times but from that day I think it was my last stay.
Very, very spacious room and bathroom. Well provisioned: robes, iron & board, hair blower, tub, shower, dual sinks, air con. Generous breakfast buffet. Good restaurant. Terrific security, felt very safe. Accommodating staff.
Bad lighting at bathroom sinks and in bed area. The doors locked, but had gaps that exterior light came through, odd!
Our stay was amazing, we loved everything about the place, from the warm welcoming (thanks to Bronbi-ann Pulford & Noma Dlamini) to the scrumptious food. However, I would like to suggest that the check-out time be extended a bit, if possible, be moved to 11:00 am at least, especially on weekends.
Tranquility at its best. Such a beautiful hotel, spacious rooms. We enjoyed a scrumptious dinner, big portions great value for money. Wide variety for breakfast. Highly recommended, and oh complimentary bar and snacks đŻ
We hosted a wedding at Thaba over this past weekend . All in all , I must compliment the banqueting staff, everything ran smoothly . The food was delicious. Your wedding coordinator needs some work , she was NOT present and everytime we called Linda - she was in a meeting of sorts. She , unfortunately needs further training as she was of NO assistance at all.
Stay was great but I was in bed with my partner and had the do not disturb sign on my door.
The cleaning staff opened my door (without even knocking) and asked if I wanted towels. I was very taken aback as I thought I had maybe forgot to put the sign up. I then refused towel service and asked the cleaning staff if my do not disturb sign was on- to which she replied that it was- but she still needed to ask if I wanted towels.
This is total disregard for protocol and privacy and I was not impressed with the intrusion.
Overall it was a nice stay- but I was not happy with that part of the stay
Super efficient and friendly staff. Keen "second mile" attitude, always ready to assist wherever they can.
Magical views. Immaculate, spacious rooms. Good comfortable beds...crisp white linen. Little thoughtful extras (snacks in the room & complimentary bar fridge) were a pleasant surprise.
Super pool area and great 'Eco ' bar surrounded by beautifully kept indigenous gardens.
Fantastic Spa .
Very good buffet breakfast .
Great food and excellent staff at the restaurant. (Only wish those plastic table cloths & chairs would disappear!) đ
Very environmentally conscious.
Loved our stay !
Thank you
The room was so luxurious and the view beautiful. The minibar was a wonderful surprise!!
The breakfast was superb.
We can't wait to visit again. However, next time a little bit longer!
