This hotel is south of the loud business of the boardwalk. It is a family friendly beach that was clean and roomy. The hotel itself was wonderful. The staff is helpful when needed. They have delicious coffee available all day.

The Oceaneer was actually nicer than we expected. The room was nicely updated and clean, just steps away from the beach and the pool was awesome. Great value for the price. We’ll definitely return

This is a beautiful little boutique hotel if you're looking for someplace nicer than a mildewed motel!! The decor is fabulous, rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and location at the south (quieter) end of Carolina Beach, just before it becomes Kure beach, is great, There is a nice gym and pretty outdoor pool. The only downside is that there are no oceanfront balconies, but with the ocean steps away, that isn't a big issue.

The Oceaneer’s renovation is beautifully done, with fresh, modern rooms and nautical touches that feel right at home by the ocean. Everything feels clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. Private beach access puts you just steps from the sand, making it easy to head out for a morning walk or spend the whole afternoon by the water. The large, spotless pool is perfect for a lazy afternoon, and the beach cruiser bikes are a great touch for exploring the island. Between the beach, the pool, and the relaxed atmosphere, it’s easy to settle in and slow down. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxed stay in Carolina Beach that still feels special, the Oceaneer is worth booking. It has the charm of a smaller beach hotel with the fresh feel of a beautifully renovated property.

The property was beautiful, newly renovated, with even Versace wallpaper in the lobby bathroom! It was a beautiful beachfront property. Loved it, and will stay again in the future!
