Good location in Binondo and walking distance to Intramuros. Service is on a good level but sure, always possible to get better. The bread at the breakfast buffet is not good, hope you find a better bakery for good sourdough bread and Baguette.
But there is one important thing: please change the room description "sound-proofed"! The roons are comfortable (and i would very like to book the Suite) but it is much way too noisy from outside traffic.
The staff are exceptional! Everyone works super hard to help the guests and ensure they have everything needed. Jeff, one of the porters, was especially friendly and helpful. The porter who worked the other shift was also wonderfully kind and helpful but Ive forgotten his name.
The hitel is right in Chinatown and you can walk to most of the malls and restaurants. There is a wonderful display of Philippine books for sale in the lobby that is interesting to browse. The restaurant even kept my medicine refrigerated for me between checkout and my departure to the airport. I would recommend a stay in this hotel.
Ramada has been my go-to hotel in Binondo for years.
Convenient location, lots of dining options outside the hotel, convenience stores and a supermarket within walking distance
Staff are warm and pleasant.
The hotel is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. This is the best hotel to stay in when in Chinatown. The only thing I did not like is the stacks of trash on the side of the road. We wanted to do the food crawl but canât do it because I keep smelling the trash. Also there are a lot of beggars on the street.
The staff were all welcoming and friendly.
The hotel is a bit worn in places. The corridor wallpaper and carpets were rather shabby but theyre clean.
Our room was a suite with panoramic views. It was a nice size room with a seating area and a tv in both the seating area and the bedroom.
Breakfast had both local food options and western food options.
We couldn't connect our Wifi in the room and staff were quick to come and help and similarly, when the tv stopped working they were quick to resolve the issue.
There's not a lot to do locally apart from visit the church next door, which is absolutely beautiful.
Its about a half hour walk to Intramuros and it's on busy main roads. You get approached by locals but they dont hassle you if you day no to whatever they are trying to sell.
Finally, a big thank you to Albert for all his help.
My husband hurt his ankle and Albert brought him an ice pack and ensured we had a regular supply.
