The proximity to sites, shops and restaurants was excellent. The rooms were spacious enough for our family of 5 to each have a bed. The second bathroom isn’t a full, it’s a small, half powder room with a very low door frame. But there is another full bathroom as well and the powder room made it easier for our family to get ready. The washer is a washer only. No dryer in the unit. The AC exists but the room temperature setting doesn’t match the actual temperature. We stayed when it was very hot in Italy and we had trouble sleeping with the heat even though the AC was on. When we arrived in 100 degree heat, the power was not working in the unit and it was dangerously hot in the apartment. The host was responsive and answered our call for help after about 15 minutes, but we had already flipped the breakers on and off to fix the issue by then. It would have been much better if the unit was checked for power and cooled even a little bit before we arrived given the heat & we had given an accurate arrival time. We thought we were going to have to leave & find other accommodations it was so hot inside. It’s an upstairs unit. It started off on a bad foot and that made the rest of the stay a little less enjoyable for us. All in all, the property was clean, had working appliances when the power worked, and the shower worked fine. But the AC is not much more than a very light fan. We were happy to have it though. Without it, we wouldn’t have been able to stay there.
