NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN. When I booked the hotel, I called to ensure bedding was feather-free (I’m very allergic). I was assured it was. Morning before check in, I called & told we had feather-free bedding. At check-in, I asked front desk staff if it was feather-free & told it was. Room wasn’t feather free. Phone in room didn’t work & went to lobby myself to get feather-free bedding. Room was beat up. Scratches on walls & missing corners of walls (damaged before us). Sunday (night after we checked in) asked housekeeping to clean room. They did & ate some of our snacks that were in the kitchen. We were weirded out & made us both uncomfortable. Wednesday night (checked out Friday), we asked for late checkout @ 2 p.m. Gentleman who helped us was kind & assured us it was okay & no fee. Friday 1:45 p.m., us, two young women were changing into our clothes to go to the airport when a man from housekeeping (without knocking) opened the front door. We immediately got dressed & opened the door. He was standing directly in front of our door. We said we had until 2 p.m. to check out & to please wait until then. We were given attitude & no apology for opening the door on us. 2:05 p.m., at front desk & told with attitude we owed a late checkout fee. We said that we were told Wednesday night we had late checkout w/o a fee. Ended up not paying fee. Want to clarify: most of front desk & cleaning staff were lovely & very kind. We were happy to see familiar faces & say hi throughout our trip.
