Mostly clean and comfortable with surprising quiet considering the hotel is located right on a busy main road. Convenient access to Eastwood's shopping and dining options via a nearby overpass (that has its own security guard).
Bedsheets were an odd plasticky material, not entirely the comfiest but serviceable enough to sleep in. I had concerns about strong fragrances/fabric softeners prior to my stay (skin allergy issues) but fortunately the hotel keeps the linens (?) fragrance free.
Was surprised to find my in-room safe not only broken but almost falling off its hinges, possibly due to previous guest? Check-out inspections could be more thorough. Maintenance was great about replacing the entire safe and helping with a plumbing issue. Also note that breakfast comes as an extra charge.
Hotel was mostly well equipped otherwise: fully controllable air conditioning, very cold mini-fridge, free drinking water from a dispenser in the hallway. Friendly and promptly helpful staff and security, too.
Had difficulties checking-in due to no record of reservation. I reserved the hotel a couple of months ago. It took many phone calls and over an hour to confirm my room reservation. Btw, I received confirmation from message and email prior to arrival.
Location is great. Easy walk to Eastwood. Security guards were fantastic they made us feel important and safe. Front desk staff was busy with paperwork or computer work most of the time that they hardly acknowledge our presence when we go in and out. Reminder that a warm hello and smile are always good to make guests feel welcome no matter how busy they are. Overall experience was just okay. Thank you!
We were given a room next to the elevator. The clanging and banging noise when on throughout our stay. The cost of the meal was highway robbery. 500 pesos for a cup of rice 2 pieces of chicken a table spoon of mix vegetable thatâs lunch. Dinner same
With small tilapia. Will I recommend using microtel ? Definitely
Not.
