A very nice hotel. Ian, the proprietor, welcomed me with tea and a scone. The room was comfortable and the breakfast could not have boin better. Plenty of choice.
Entry is up some stone steps, but I was ableto drive up to the top to unload. The view fro. My window was iconic. Overlooking Rothbury, a quintessential English village. Reasonable rates. Whats not to love. Try it, you wont be disappointed.
Great location to explore the area from. Ian, the owner canât do enough to help and the breakfast options are excellent. Absolutely would stay again.
Spacious, well equipped room with tea and cake offered on arrival in the guest lounge. So nice this guesthouse offers such hospitality. Friendly owners and great breakfasts. Although it's only a few minutes from the High St, you'd be hard pushed to find a quieter place to stay. Highly recommended.
The Haven really does live up to itâs name. Peaceful, quiet with lovely views across Rothbury and surrounding countryside. Our hosts were extremely friendly and the breakfast choice was varied and delicious. Our room was spaciousness and clean. We were given tea and cake on our arrival - a welcome and unexpected treat!!
I thought it was lovely been met with a cup of tea and cake a lovely welcome. The owners were very helpful printing information for us about the surrounding area. Every details had been thought of to make the stay enjoyable. The choice and quality of the breakfast was exceptional I would highly recommend this as a central place to stay.
Super 3 night stay at The Haven. Warm welcome with tea and biscuits on arrival. Good recommendations of where to eat.
Wonderful breakfast selection that set us up for the day.
The Haven was amazingly clean (surfaces, walls, floors). Plenty of on-site parking, Great breakfasts, Bed was very comfortable and supplied with good quality linen.
I thought the BnB was absolutely lovely. Easy check in & Covid secure. My room was great with added extras of biscuits, a small bar of locally made chocolate and some sweets alongside the usual tea/coffee. Comfortable bed and the shower room was fine. Breakfast menu looked fab, I left earlier than the times it was served but was able to get a takeaway breakfast on all three days which was perfect for me although the owner did offer to get up early for me so my advice is to talk with him should you need to. Would be very happy to stay there again should I be in the area.
The hosts of The Haven were excellent. Rooms were of a good size with a comfortable large bed. It was good to have a selection of teas, coffees and drinking chocolate, and also biscuits and a bar of chocolate. The breakfast selection was also very good with fresh fruits and home made granola. The crab and chive omelette was amazing. We would certainly recommend this property.
