I was on fourth floor the room I did shower room one door was missing that means the slide door was not in the room when I take a shower speed a lot the water everywhere and another thing of mosquito inside the room
pretending to be a 4 star hotel but anything but. Balcony door did not close, never mind locking. And anything that involved electricity invariably didnât work- iron, tv, etc.
No hot water, plumbing work falling apart, noisy surrounding, the airport pick up did not turn up, reception is amateur, room service delivered the wrong food order.
It was pleasnat. However the staff at the reception do not respond to requests with the speed needed. Every enquiry should wait for the manager who is never known or presented as a manager. I had to e mail to get my request answered.
Hotel is clean and well kept, rooms are quite comfortable. But it doesn't have an A/C, which was no big issue for my stay but wonder if it can get hot for summer. Didn't get hot water on my last day in the morning because hot water tank was under maintenance (good that it gets maintenance but why in the morning when guests take a showerÂĄ?!). Limited options for breakfast. Staff just doing their job, one or two smiling friendly staff others were just there to barely get a job done. Price compared to other hotels in town for the week of African Union Summit was relatively less expensive but still extremely expensive in international standards for the quality of hotel and services. Liked location a bit better than other more pricey options, felt it could be ok to walk around.
