Totally isolated on a farm, lovely peace and quiet. Pub walking distace, took my dog town near by if you need it. Thanks for a lovely stay. Just what i needed.
For a little peace and quiet in a cosy comfortable Shepards Hut, I couldnât have asked for better. Slept so well. The welcome basket was a nice touch. So close to Upton-Upon-Severn with great selection of shops & pubs etc.
I didnât exactly know what I was letting myself in for when I booked into The Shepherdâs Lodge but it was actually a pleasant experience and it provided exactly what I was looking for i.e. a comfortable place to lay my head at night and have a cup of tea and few quiet hours after a long day at a Folk Music Festival. The only problems I encountered were due to the weather and therefore beyond anyoneâs control.
Lovely location with an amazing view. Host was very welcoming. As a shepard's hut the amenities are basic but its very cozy and has a great log burner.
Not quite sure what we were expecting but this place is amazing. Quirky doesn't get close, set in beautiful countryside it's the ideal hidden get away as long as you dont expect a five star, 50" surround sound entertainment system, pool and a bar sort of holiday. Brilliantly different!
Absolutely appalling from start to finish. It is called the Shepherds Lodge on here but is indeed sign posted Bluebell Cottage which had us quite confused. The woman accommodating has a terrible attitude and refuses to speak to you, simply carried on eating and ignoring us. We called and asked for directions as we didnât want to enter someone elseâs property, it took several calls and over 2 hours for the phone to be answered. When hosting people it would help to 1. Communicate with them and 2. Be welcoming and ACCOMMODATING.
I honestly do not recommend staying here. Waste of time and money, very overpriced for what you actually get.
There was only one Shepardâs hut.. the shower facilities could be bigger and maybe a tv in the hut would be good and a few more plugs about the hut also. Very nice relaxing setting but would have to drive to local towns, pubs etc
Booked this last minute and it looked really cosy in the pictures. It was a bit hard to find but once we were there we got a friendly welcome and were shown the the Shepherd's Hut. The weather was miserable but the hut was cosy and warm. After dinner at a local pub we relaxed in the warm with a little fire in the log burner. The bed was comfy as well despite my husband being 6'4 and me being 5'11!
