We had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend the hotel. The front desk staff couldnât have been nicer and more helpful and accommodating. By incredibly good fortune, we got a room on the top (10th) floor, looking west, with spectacular views over the Hudson. It was the highlight of our stay! Unfortunately, we werenât able to control the temperature of the AC - brr!
From the time I arrived the stay was perfect. The staff at the desk, the informative way I was checked inâŠ. The cookies â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž. The room was perfect, loved the shower. Loved the size of the room and the TV. I ate breakfast on the second day. Trinity was fantastic as was the young bus boy, very prompt with the coffee. I will choose Doubletree Hilton every time I can.
Perfect location within walking distance of the fireworks. Really liked the room - only complaint is that the color of the bathroom tiles made them dirty.
Also didnât appreciate an unrequested 5AM wake up call.
Clean, good facilities. But the AC units do not work for the rooms, was near 80 degrees almost the entire time despite adjusting thermostat and calling electrician more than once. Raised the issue with staff, was not provided a solution given that technician visit not did improve the comfort of the stay. For over $500 this should be addressed promptly and taken seriously.
Left some clothing in the room.I contacted the hotel & someone went up to the room & found the clothing & left it in a bag at the front desk.Very appreciative.
Servce during breakfast was not good. Food was good but food order was incorrect and was took too long to get served. Restaurant understaffed and unorganized. One elevator out of order was a huge inconvenience. Walked up 7 flights of stairs to get to my room after waiting 15 minutes for elevator. Needed to get to graduation so time was of the essence. Bed too soft which resulted in back discomfort.
