This motel is in a great location between Long And Short Beach. Itâs an easy family-friendly walk to either. The room was big, and included a kitchenette, kitchen table, and closet area. The motel grounds and room were clean.
This motel could use some updating. The carpets are shag and it felt like stepping back in time. The check in is paper-based and takes a few minutes. These are not necessarily bad things, just items to keep in mind.
The rooms decor was straight out of the 60's. The stove/refrigerator did not keep things cold, we did not use the stovetop. There was a stand alone dehumidifier that smelled and was on the entire stay. Beds were not comfortable. The room was clean but just smelled moldy.
While it had a good location close to both beaches that was the ONLY good thing about the motel. The room was severely outdated with pea green shag carpets, no doors on the cupboards, only one very small mirror in the room. The beds were VERY uncomfortable and the air conditioner was loud and made a popping noise all night long.
Booked 2 rooms for a family vacation. Bookings were confirmed thru Expedia, upon arrival the Innkeeper said she had only one room reserved not two...upon further review she found both reservations, but did not have any room for us, she had overbooked. She sent us to a friends hotel which was horrible and it ruined our family's vacation.
I wanted to see if I could find a place to stay with my dog at York Beach, Maine for a couple of days. I did not think I would find anything last minute, but the Inn Between the Beaches had a vacancy. They have 1 room for guests with a dog. The room was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. Thank you!
