Pros: Hotel is gorgeous. The room is very comfy. Staff is super nice and helpful.
Cons: Very far away. Limited hotel shuttle times. Breakfast is way overly priced.
Nice New Hotel but got tricked on the "familysuite
My main problem was that I booked a family suite and then found out when I got there that it was two separate hotel rooms that are adjacent. It was the same bungalow unit, but separate keys, and locks, etc. which is not great for small kids on their own. First time I ever got tricked on an expedia hotel reservation. False advertising.
This is a most excellently built hotel and the swimming pool, which was a main attraction for me, actually is only usable at the end of the long sections-- you can't swim between sections so most of it is a waste of space with little sections not worth swimming in. The pool is fine at the end fairly big, and with waterfalls.
The food is not good but plated nicely. It's not expensive though so it's okay. They don't milk you on the food.
The breakfast buffet was like what you expect for a budget stay over place not a "resort"
I ate a whole lot of fried eggs there, the only viable choice for me. I don't know if I can look at a fried egg again.
Spacious room and Gd designed long pools along the hotel. Open the door n then u can swim in different shapes of pools with Rapids. transportation provided but some are Charged. Still convenient to travel to the town by free shuttle bus. The nearby hot spring us great! Overall this hotel is a Gd place for relax n visitors are served by nice staff with smiles.
We really enjoyed our stay there! Every single staff member is so kind and caring that we felt at home, even being across the world from home.
I got so touched when the restaurant manager gave us a bottle of fish sauce when we left. He was so thoughtful, since we had mentioned during our cooking class that there isn't fish sauce in Brazil.
Can not fault this property. Huge room with top furnishings. Giant tv, amazing sized shower. Can have a party in there. Swiing pool has to be seen to be believed. Bed is super comfy and staff are friendly and helpful. A shuttle runs twice daily to Chiang Mai so you get the best of both worlds. Shopping and sightseeing and also peaceful countryside and relaxation.
