Beautiful home with many historic features like arched doorways with beautiful thick moulding. All the modern luxury in old world charm. Very delicious breakfasts and welcoming and super helpful hostess.
What a magnificent stay! The facility is top-notch, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the neighborhood is clean, safe and luxurious. The grounds offer hammocks, a gazebo and several flower beds for a relaxing stay and great photo opportunities.
The rooms are tidy, and well appointed. The decor is a mix of colonial charm and rustic furnishings, and you can tell a lot of thought and planning went into each piece. Each room in the house had a different, charming name. We stayed in "The Muir".
The dining room had delicious cookies and cakes available all day, and we enjoyed a healthy home-cooked breakfast before leaving.
I cannot rave more about what a great stay we had at this B&B. We will try to book here every time we vacation in Canandaigua.
Wonderful weekend in Canandaigua! This B&B is charming, lovely memories x of history and comfort in a beautiful setting. The bed and bedding is lovely very as was the bath and accessories. The innkeeper and assistant are perfect examples of graciousness, solicitous without being intrusive.
Last but in no way least, breakfast each morning was a lovely treat, highly recommend a stay here.
What an amazing B & B - beautiful and spacious rooms and common areas. The breakfasts were amazing and the host was delightful. The inn is within walking distance to the downtown, with great shops and restaurants, and the lake.
The B&B at Oliver Phelps exceeded my expectations in every way! My room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and quiet. The locally sourced 3-course breakfast every morning was fantastic! Absolutely beautiful historic building in a great location that is close to lots of attractions and points of interest in Canandaigua. Karin is a great host! Stay here; you will not be disappointed!
Only our second time staying at a B&B and we have learned we need to stay many more times. This breakfast was inventive and healthy served with a smile. Karin was a lovely host and you can tell she likes people and sharing her home. The house was historic and well cared for. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were to die for. Overall a wonderful 2 night stay in a lovely home.
Lovely house. We had the smallest room so it would have been nice to have a bigger one. Nevertheless it was comfortable. Breakfasts are wonderful - delicious and beautifully presented. Convenient location. Karin was helpful with suggestions.
This Bed and Breakfast was absolutely charming and full of history! The dood was superb and carefully prepared by our host. The bed was soft. The grounds were beautiful. And the hostess was fabulous!
