The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotelâs location is very convenient to LSU. Unfortunately, my stay was disrupted by the fire alarm going off multiple times after midnight, which made it hard to get any rest. Additionally, the room had an unpleasant smell and didnât feel as clean or fresh as expected.
Everything in the room is dirty. There was hair and what appeared to be bug legs on the thermostat. The curtains were stained. There was hair on the shower walls. There were are âdripsâ down the wall that looks like something was splashed. All the light switches were disgustingly dirty and had to be wiped with Clorox wipes before touching them. The carpet turned our socks black. There was a bright pink stain on the headboard. The room was a two queen bed room but only had two wash clothes and two towels. The walls and looks and paper thin. The people above us stomped, jumped, and ran around from 11:45pm until 1:30am.
Great weekend stay for a dance competition. Loved having the kitchen and glad I booked the suite for more space. The hotel also has complimentary washers and dryers. Didn't have to use but was glad to have the option. Close to the Raising Cane's River Center. Would definitely stay again!
Great clean little hotel, only complaint is that the door to the Gym/laundry room gets a little bit of foot traffic and due to the door kind of needing a little force to push open (my hotel room door also took some force to close all the way) it makes a very startling noise every time it opens. Itâll startle the bejesus out of you if youâre working out in there.
This is a good place to stay. The staff is helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. There are several eating places nearby, including a Waffle House across the street. My only criticism is that the kitchen needs more dinnerware and utensils.
