The only thing I was so mad about was that we only booked that room because there was a pool. But we where so upset when we get there paid for the room already and the pool is under renovations on the website there was no sign stating this I would have choose another place to book we had our swim suits on and was on the way down and got told itâs under renovations so mad I was so mad. Everything else was good but so mad abo it this I would of stayed somewhere else
we were not advised of repairs being done therefore there was no gym to use and the pool and hot tub were closed. our room was not ready upon arrival - resulting in almost an hour delay. TV kept buffering so we couldnât watch TV. our room was newly renovated but upon showering, the bathroom floor was completely wet. The only real highlight was that it was quiet.
This was my second time staying Park Town. Staff are very nice and rooms are great. Hotel is pretty quiet and very close to river for a nice. Parking leaves a little to be desired, but loved the under ground in the winter. While worth the extra $15.00 a night.
This is a really nice hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel itself is very clean and has a bit of a high end atmosphere. There are 2 restaurants on site, I ordered room service and it fast and delicious and reasonably priced. Itâs located right across from a large park, which was nice for an evening stroll.
Kind of felt the pictures oversold the place.
For some reason I wasnât able to access the pool, so I couldnât really judge on it, but from what I can tell it didnât look like that.
The keys also didnât work on the fitness space, but it wasnât locked anyways. We just pushed inside to take a peek. It was really hot inside.
Not a lot of power in the room, there is a power bar between the beds but you have to make room for charging your own devices. If you have more than one device I suggest you use other outlets around the room or get another power bar. The radio to charge your phone on the stand is for a very old iPhone, I donât think anyone even has that charger anymore.
The room was very average. There was no AC, so we had to open the window. But because of the location the streets are very loud at night. Especially with the bar attached to the hotel. Lots of drunks.
Then it also took forever for the elevators, we waited for 3 to go by during check out because there was a conference in town. So lots of people were going in and out.
I wouldnât stay here again, it was very crowded. We will stay elsewhere with our dogs.
