This place was so cute that I really wish I could give it a better review. Lovely decorations, the common areas were nice and there was tea, coffee, cookies, and alcohol to enjoy at your leisure. Loved the style of the bedroom. Unfortunately the bed was so old and used that it sloped down on the sides and was too soft to sleep on, we just tossed and turned all night and woke up with back pain. However that could be a personal preference. So even that wasnât a huge complaint. There were ants and the bedding was yellowed from age and use, feathers coming out of the decorative pillows, one of the pillowcases was ripped open and there was mold on the ceiling and wall in the bathroom. Even that, I get it, itâs old. The biggest complaint I have is that itâs a bed and breakfast that doesnât have a breakfast at the hotel!! You get a certificate for breakfast. You have to leave the hotel and walk down the street (it was raining for us) and walk down Main Street to get to moonside bakery. But you donât get their baked goods, you get a crappy menu to choose from and the food while it wasnât bad, was not good. Donât call it a bed and breakfast if you donât have breakfast. Or atleast clearly state it on the website. Very sad and disappointed as this could have been a really cute place with a lot of potential for a great stay.
