We really appreciated the service and staff of the restaurant and housekeeping.
On the other hand, we have many complaints towards the reception team. This hotel communicates on its VIP Access. In fact, it’s not at all!
Our VIP status entitled us to an early reception. It was not the case.
We had to wait 3 hours to get our suite. Every time we asked if we could have our suite, we were told: Go sit down, we will let you know. It was only after 3 hours, after having strongly insisted at reception, that someone deigned to check to realize that the suite had been ready for a long time.
Same for departure, we were not entitled to late check out. Additionally, we were asked to wait to check the room. After a while, the receptionist gave us her OK and as we got into the taxi a person from reception rushed to ask us to wait again because they hadn't checked if we had stolen bathrobes and/or towels.
This practice is somewhat surprising.
During our stay, we approached the tourist office, we simply wanted to find out about the different tours offered by the hotel. A staff member signed us up without our knowledge! because the next morning at 8:30 a.m., he woke us up, calling us to our room, letting us know that we were late, that everyone was waiting for us!
