I stayed with Dzung and his family for 4 night and I loved it. I felt so very welcome, breakfast was amazing, free use of a bike to go exploring by myself. A nice pool to take a plunge in after getting back from a day outside visiting the sights. I cannot recommend the beautiful place and people enough. Also, I really liked the location that was a bit away from the huzzle of Tam Coc area, while it still had good restaurants, and a good spa in the area. Thank you for a great vacation đ
We loved our stay at Limestone. Dzung and Dep were unbelievably friendly and helpful. I left my phone in the Grab, and Dzung was instrumental in getting it back to me within an hour. He and Dep made us a wonderful breakfast and helped us plan our day. Dep did my laundry and had it waiting when we returned from our day of activities. The rooms were AMAZING!! Absolutely huge! And the views from the balconies (we had 2 rooms) were beautiful. I only wish we had stayed longer! Our train ride to Da Nang wasn't until 10pm and because there were no guests using the room that night, he told us to keep it and we could shower and change before our overnight train. Way over and above anything expected. Truly kind people! Book it and stay a few nights. You will be glad you did.
A bit of a downer not to be able to see the promised views, but Dzung and his wife made up for that by the warmth of their welcome and delicious breakfasts. They arranged to have me picked up from the station and driven round during my stay. Highly recommended
Mr Dzung is fabulous and goes above and beyond to give you everything you might need. We were treated like royalty for our 4 night stay!
His English is good -he gives good advice and can arrange reasonably priced transfers to/from Hanoi. He also arranges scooter hire -though having taken advantage of it, all we can say is that you take your life into your own hands at your peril! Stay local is our advice and avoid having to turn left on main roads.
Bed very comfortable.
Loud Vietnamese music at 5.45am on Sunday morning (!) but Mr Dzung explained it was a funeral for an ex local policeman and Vietnamese have to bury their dead within 24 hours.
Breakfast is when you want it and you have a choice. Can highly recommend the freshly-cooked banana pancakes with local honey and the bun cha quat pork dish. Amazing fresh fruit and fruit juice and heâs justly very proud of his Vietnamese coffee.
Bicycles are in good functioning condition (no gears but unnecessary as flat everywhere).
Excellent location for all local attractions and restaurants/bars in walking distance/cycling distance.
All in all, excellent basic accommodation. Mr and Mrs Dzung and family make it a memorable stay.
Et rigtigt godt hotel. Familie-ejet og med en vĂŠrt der er venlig og intereseret i at hjĂŠlpe og sikre et godt ophold. Servicen er super god og dejlig morgenmad.
The host was epic... Dzung was so friendly and helpful. I honestly rarely leave reviews, but in this case I felt it was worth it.
The experience and time at Dzung property far exceeded our expectations, and his helpful tips made our time on Ninh Binh more than we could have asked for. Highly recommend đ
The hosts are very friendly. Speak English really well. The room is spacious, clean with all amenities.
Provide hot coffee and delicious breakfast everyday.
Highly recommended.
Dzung and his family are so friendly and welcoming! He arranged for a private car to bring us from Hanoi and back. He provided us with information about local attractions and restaurants.
We were there during my wife's birthday. We never said anything about it being her birthday. He and his wife brought her a birthday cake, candles and a birthday hat. It made the day very special for her. We were very touched by their gesture.
There are many places to stay in the area, but I am so glad we chose to stay at Limestone View Homestay!
Dzung and his wife Dep have made a lovely homestay. They are super sweet and accommodating. My room was large, comfortable and had an awesome view. They provide bikes to get around and Grabs are super easy to get. Dzung even arranged a private car transfer to and from Hanoi. I would absolutely stay here again!
Everything about our stay was amazing!! The views from the bedroom were swoon-worthy, the location was easy to get around on bikes the owner provided, and the banana pancakes with lychee flower honey were next-level! We felt so well-taken care of! :)
From the moment you arrive and Dzung welcomes you, you know you have just become part of the family. We loved our stay at Limstone, even though it was not summer, and too cold for the pool. They went out of their way, to provide every possible guest service, right down to his hand-drawn tourist maps. Easy walking to local restaurants, and amazing views in all directions. He organized a motorbike for us, and we explored everywhere. It's hard to imagine a better host couple. Beware his home brew is not for the faint hearted !
A perfect beautiful homestay hotel run by the most warm, welcoming and helpful couple we've encountered on our trip. The owner's english is excellent and he was so helpful with information on what to do in the area. He lent us free bicycles so we could explore the village and get ourselves to nearby attractions. He arranged a full day driver to take us to the National Park for hiking and exploring. Breakfasts were fantastic. The room's AC and fan were quiet and effective, the views from all windows and balcony simply wonderful. We were even warmly welcomed with breakfast after arriving from the overnight train Sapa to Hanoi. We couldn't have wished for a better way to spend the last 3 days of our trip.
