We stayed at the Admiral Sims on Catherine St. and it was great! The house and property were beautiful and in a good location. Easy walk to the beach, and a little bit longer into downtown Newport but it is doable. Next time we come back we will definitely be bringing our dog!

Such a great stay for a weekend wedding in Newport. Instructions were clear for check in/check out and location was walking distance to Thames St. Unit was very clean & the bed was very comfortable- host Marie was communicating with us during our stay and gave us some great recommendations. Location was central and walkable to Cliff Walks and Thames St shops and dining as well as the Bellevue Ave. shopping district. Great location, walking distance to Easton's Beach and Cliff Walk as well as many stores, restaurants, etc. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It got fairly cold for a couple of days and the gas fireplace heater did a great job of warming the room. The kitchenette was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. And the hosts are super friendly and helpful!

It was located in a very quiet and nice area. I was able to walk to the main downtown area where restaurants and the shopping are. This is my 2nd time staying overnight in Newport and my 1st airbnb experience was horrible. I'm so glad I found this place and I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Newport- one of my fav. town.
