The innâs hosts were outstanding in friendliness and knowledge. Our breakfast was delicious and healthy. The only real downside was the roomâs bathroom was down the hall from our room. The website only listed that it was a private bath but didnât mention it wasnât attached to our room. They should probably edit the site to erase any confusion.
We loved our stay. The area is beautiful. The house is super homey and comfy and charm, right across from the entrance to Vanderbilt Mansion historic site. Our host is wonderful and helpful, giving us great tips for restaurant. If we ever travel back to Hudson River Valley again, we will seek Journey Inn out and stay here again.
1st time traveling solo and staying at a bed n breakfast. The Journey Inn, and owners were great!!! Breakfast was a nice treat & the owners are very well versed about the area. I'm thankful for their hospitality. I've found my new way to travel b/c of them, and their kindness.
Beautiful B&B across the street from Vanderbilt Mansion & 5 minutes from FDR Presidential Library.
Breakfast was excellent & they made sure that it was appropriate for people with food restrictions.
Nice place to stay!
Had such a lovely visit to this place. Really enjoyed our time. Friendly welcome on arrival. Amazing breakfast in the morning. Great setting and scenery to relax in. Definitely recommend
Valerie and Eric are the perfect hosts; They instantly make you feel like you are staying with family for the weekend. Every room welcomes you with comfort and attention to details. Topped off with friendly, funny chatter over coffee and Valâs delicious breakfastsâŠ5 Stars!
Proprietors were welcoming and very friendly.
Accomodations were attractive and very clean.
Location very convenient.
Breakfasts were excellent
I definitely would stay again.
Nice breakfast prepared and served each morning. You could sit by yourselves or at a long table. Local questions answered cheerfully and place was quiet but not isolated being off main road so getting to sites was very easy.
Such a great experience with an amazing friendly staff and incredibly delicious food they also were able to adapt the menu because we are gluten-free and we really appreciate it that!!!
The Inn was very pleasant, and close to all the Local Landmarks and Historic Sites in Hyde Park. Breakfast was served each morning and the Innkeeper prepared meals that were healthy and appealing. The Innkeepers made our stay comfortable. I especially liked sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful garden. The Inn is directly across from The Vanderbilt Mansion and a close drive to The Roosevelt Estate. Hyde Park and this area are definitely a must see for history enthusiasts and the Inn makes the stay all the more appealing.
We had a delightful stay at Journey Inn B&B. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfasts were wonderful. The staff even had ice on hand for those who wanted to relax with cocktails in the evening after dinner. Fortunately, the staff thought of details that boarders would need during their stay because they often were not around during the day and evening.
The proprieters, Valerie and Eric, were very lovely
Our room was very comfortable and we awoke to a lovely homemade breakfast
So much to do and enjoy in the area
We had a fabulous stay. Owners Valerie and Eric are great hosts and are dedicated to makin g their guests comfortable.
Breakfast are gourmet, fresh and served hot. I highly recommend Journey Inn and will stay here on our next visit to Hyde Park
