I had read some pretty bad reviews *after* booking (not typical for me) so I had low expectations. Was pleasantly surprised all went well.
Very minor, personal issues: the little 'sofa' in the room is angled awkwardly and I was facing the ceiling if leaning back, couldn't watch tv that way so I had to sit up with no back support. Fiance wasn't bothered, he is tall and could see the tv fine leaning back. Parking lot could use extra lighting (at least two overhead lights weren't working) and I think the parking fee is quite high for a quiet area like this. Most hotels like this typically come with free breakfast - I knew ahead of time this one doesn't (later found out the one next door does). I also think for over $200 a night, perhaps real glasses and coffee mugs would be a nice touch. Door was knocked on before checkout time, but not hours before as I had read in some reviews. They don't have a pool but said we could use the one next door, not an issue but I didn't feel like walking across the parking lot in a swimsuit and chose to sleep a bit later instead.
Other than that, the room was comfortable, slept well on the bed. It's quite firm but we like firm beds so it wasn't an issue for us. Loved the check out time (noon) which is a little later than many places. I wish I got the staff names for check in and check out, both ladies were very pleasant and both in / out process was smooth and quick.
