- It's VERY difficult to have the room cleaned. We asked for cleaning service the very first day we arrived, and the guy at the reception questioned why we would want that the following day. Huh... because it's a hotel and not a airbnb and we are paying for it?? Nevertheless, the following day, it wasn't done. We thought it might have been a misunderstanding, so we asked for it again for the following day. It was done. We asked for it again the third day at 10:05am. They told us the cut-off time was 10am so they wouldn't be able to accommodate us. So we spent 4 nights there and the cleaning service was only done once, when we wanted it everyday. And it wasn't even well done: the white floor of the bathroom was still muddy, so no mop was used. I don't think they used the vacuum cleaner either since we found a butterfly clasp on the carpet that wasn't for my wife.
- The attitude of the staff is uneven: some are nice, others shouldn't be working with the public. For example, the young woman at the reception in the morning is unpleasant and contemptuous.
- The sound of the train during the night or early morning is very loud;
- There was a bachelorette party on our floor, so we could notice how thin the walls really are.
- There's often nobody at the reception during afternoon or evenings;
- The bar closes at 9-10pm ish... Come on, isn't this New Orleans??
Consider this hotel as a self-service airbnb experience. Beautiful room though.
