Torquay offers a good range of exciting things to do with family. If you're hitting this popular seaside town on one of its many sunny days, you'll most likely want to head to the sandy and mostly well-facilitated beaches. Families love Torquay for its beaches and sunny days, but if there are times when your kids would rather play indoors, there are several options on hand. When you need to feed the troops, you'll find that the cafés, bars, and restaurants are extremely accommodating, most of them offering children's menus and baby chairs.

Wildlife to enjoy throughout the Devon region range from Dartmoor Zoo that inspired the movie We Bought A Zoo, Babbacombe Bay where playful seals swim around, and outstanding wildlife attractions in the neighbouring seaside town of Paignton. Torquay's museums and historical exhibitions are as well all very kid-friendly and most of them offer interactive displays and fun educational activities. From rich natural and historical attractions, follow us through a selection of fun places in Torquay to take your kids.
