The check-in process was horrible. We waited 15 minutes because the gentleman was sleeping in the back by the breakfast area with his feet propped up and didn't hear us calling or ringing the bell. He finally heard after we yelled loudly and banged on the table. The room wasn't cleaned forr the firat two days until I requested the toom be cleaned. That day the beds were made but the room was not cleaned. The room wasn't vacummed or the sinks cleaned, as there was still residue from ,y makeup in the sinck.
Must have been pleasant- I'm returning next week.
Currently staying at a very expensive boutique inn which cannot compare to the Fairfield. Amenities & pleasantness of staff of boutique can NOT compare to the Port Huron Fairfield.
There was a problem checking in. Apparently, my assigned room was given to another person. It just took a while to get me into another room.
I wasnât upset; the clerk was working very hard to take care of customers & find me a room at the same time. But, I really enjoyed my stay here.
Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff, pool and hot breakfast. There was a unique focus on service with special handwritten note in room and beautiful way of organizing plates.
Everything was great. Good options for breakfast, except not a fan of pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches.
Would also line to see a water cooler for drinking water during the day.
