I needed to book a hotel in the area for a funeral and didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted to make sure I could get a good night's sleep the night before it. I booked this hotel based on reviews that indicated it was quiet, mostly comfortable, and reasonably clean. I didn't care that many reviews mentioned it being outdated and worn out. I appreciated that it was quiet from road noise and other room noise (I only heard some voices in the morning well after I had woken up). Breakfast was decent, even for me as a vegan (I had potatoes, a banana, and instant oatmeal). Yes the carpet, walls, and furniture is worn out, but it didn't feel dirty and didn't bother me. My tub was not stained like some reviews mentioned. My only complaints are: the bed was rather hard, and there was no blackout curtain so light from the parking lot made it rather bright in the room.
