They said the valet was taken up for trucks only? Which I thought was extremely strange. The main reason I got the hotel was because I wanted valet parking. Then, I saw a bunch of empty valet parking spots that night. I donât believe that was fair at all.
The escalator to get from the parking garage up to the lobby did not work, so you had to physically carry your luggage up the stairs.
They all acted confused when asking about the shuttle because I needed to go to Walgreens. The indoor staff told me to ask the outdoor staff. Everyone was clueless.
The gift shop had nothing in it. As big as this hotel is, the gift shop is extremely underwhelming. Itâs actually pathetic. They didnât even have deodorant or toothbrushes. They had the smallest collection of snacks that Iâve ever seen in a hotel at this cost. And I paid hundreds of dollars to stay here.
The dining area, I ordered a medium steak. It was well done. The dining menu options were very limited also.
The TVs were outdated. No uses demand anymore. Where are the smart TVs? Seriously. As much as I paidâŠ
It was my first time in Houston and I thought I picked a hotel that I would be comfortable in and I was disappointed. I wouldnât stay here again. I think Iâm going to avoid the Hilton all together. Definitely did not get my moneyâs worth.
Beautiful clean hotel room was very comfortable. Only issue was the front desk clerk not to welcoming or friendly we felt like we were bothering him. Asked questions very short answers. Ice machine was out of order on the 19th floor had to get ice from the 17th floor.
My husband and I went to Houston for his MD Anderson appt. This hotel is only abt 15 mins away & very easy to get to except needs more signs on how to actually get to it. It was confusing to know to drive up to top. You can't park SUV or big Truck in garage. You have to valet which is $40! Way to expensive. But the hotel is very clean and comfortable.
Room was hot and didnât really cool, valley service was forced and we were never able to request our car with our ticket due to the fact that they were to busy, So we had to wait forever for them to get our car.
During check in their system was down so I had to pull cash out of the atm for the room.
Room was not cleaned properly. Hair on shower walls and floors. We also found plastic pieces on the floors. Our view down to the pool showed dirt settled on the bottom. This place just needs an update to keep up with what we expect from a large Marriott
