Stay anywhere else but here. This hotel has no natural light, coffee was terrible and the rooms are very outdated. Shower floor was so old and cracked that I had to stand on a towel while I showered.
Late check in after midnight 5/29/25. On 5/31, my husband went to open the drapes all the way and noticed we had a sliding door to a so-called patio. Mind you we were on the first floor facing the parking lot. My husband went to open the sliding door and the lock was broken, the door was unable to be locked which meant we were in a room that could have been accessible by anyone from the outside, ground level. Cleaning staff apparently did not know this door was broken?? My husband went to the front desk to have maintenance called to have door fixed. He was told maintenance was not in at that time. My husband then asked for a screwdriver, being handy, would attempt to fix himself. They actually allowed him to attempt to fix, however, lock completely broken and unable to be repaired. We were then told we would be moved to a new room on the second floor and offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience. We had to pack up an already unpacked room, not as big of an issue as the open door for anyone to enter!!
was here only from midnight to 7am. People at the desk were nice at check-in and when we left. Older hotel, rooms in need of updating, but the facility was clean.
Good location. Friendly staff. Room was worn out, cigarette burns on furniture and walls, drapes torn. Slightly noisy from outside sounds. Elevator inspection is a few months past due. Refrigerator not good, you have to push a reset button to turn it on for 2 hours at a time. Thatâs tough when you are there for 4 days and canât constantly monitor that. Was expecting a little more for the money and the name.
For the money that you payfor this hotel room I was Not impressed. No free continental breakfast, the shower had dried boogers and old soap close to the shower head, only 3 towels and not very clean room. There was also lights that were for bedside light with no light switch on the wall... they were mounted with switches themselves and were plugged in, but no wall switch to keep them on... all the other creature comforts. Single serving coffee, creamer, sugar and got a great room close to the elevator but the door was really flimsy and could hear everything and everyone while i laid on my bed over 8 foot away.
Hotel staff nice and the room was pretty clean. Sheets were old and the carpet was very dated and old. Couch I would not sit on it because it was old and visibly dirty. The bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom showing age but clean. I was overall able to rest during my stay.
Staff was very friendly, however this location is in need of a makeover. Dated carpet, very hard beds, pillows uncomfortable. We all woke up with sore backs. Also, for the price we feel a free breakfast should be included.
I stayed for a few days while attending a conference on the ISU campus. It was about an 8 minute drive.
I arrived around 8:30pm. I asked to switch rooms because someone was loudly hauking in the room next to mine. I was issued a new room with no problem.
The staff was welcoming. The rooms were lovely and clean. Though I did not use the washer and dryer, I appreciated the convenience. I very much enyoyed my stay.
