They couldnât find my reservation at first and when it was found someone elseâs credit card was on my reservation. I paid for it a month before my stay on my credit card. Very strange.
The air conditioning barely worked. It didnt get cool and the loud fan would go on and off randomly. It kept the kids up a lot of the night. The beds were fairly comfortable. The chemicals in the pool make the pool room hard to be in. It made my eyes sting and it was hard to breathe. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was fine. The hotel is run down but more importantly the area feels unsafe. I didnt feel comfortable going out to my car alone.
We made our reservation at the last minute, so we had to take what was available. The front desk clerk was very friendly, but the rooms definitely need an upgrade. The hallways and rooms smell heavily of stale cigarettes. The carpets are stained and could use a thorough cleaning and better vacuuming. The bathroom floor was dirty, and there was a small bar of soap left in the tub drain. Overall, the place felt very old, dirty, dingy â and the smell was overwhelming.
Was a nice stay. They need to check the bathroom door though because it wouldnât stay closed when you were in there easy maintenance fix. Very accommodating for our dog.
Bed was comfy. However, room needed attention, door was busted and held together with screws, furniture well worn and gouged. Continental breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and omelette making station.
The front staff was very nice. When we got in the rooms they were okay you could tell that they were not real clean. In one of the rooms the bathroom door wouldnât open all the way because it hit the toilet. The tubs didnât drain quickly when showering. The floors had sticky stuff still on them in a few spots (obviously not cleaned and wiped down) when we wiped the floor the towel came out black. It was disgusting. We didnât eat there due to the way the room was we didnât trust the cleaning of the breakfast kitchen.
