We picked this hotel because it was close to Busch Gardens and we wanted to spend two days there. It was close to the park, which was nice but the hotel itself is pretty shabby and had some leaking ceilings and the shower had a leak that ran all over the floor. The room was pretty cramped. The free breakfast was the exact same thing every single morning so we decided to opt out on the last day. The staff were very friendly though and always willing to help.
AC worked, but the temp range varied widely so I went from being sweaty to being too cold and needing a blanket. Also the air had a moist feel to it that I could feel in my lungs with each breath
This was a trip for my 4yr wedding anniversary. The room was nice and the peace we experienced was unbelievable! All was going well until other guests checked in on Friday. As we were leaving out Saturday afternoon, we saw a roach coming from the room across and crawl up our door. The next sighting was Sunday morning around 1am. I woke up in pain and went to the sink, when I saw another roach crawling in under the door. Now, we have been here once before and NEVER had this issue. Apparently, the other guest had friends tag along. This was utterly disgusting and from there we just decided to go purchase spray and spray near their door. We didnt experience any more issues. I will say this, the staff are very polite and nice. However, the breakfast could use a different cook or just train him to do better. The pancakes had NO FLAVOR, pork sausage IS NOT our food and they looked raw and the hashbrowns needed to be THOROUGHLY COOKED ALL THE WAY! Raw potatoes are not a good food to serve, maybe crisp them up more PLEASE. At the end, we really enjoyed our stay and will return again.
Thank you for everything!
I needed the plunger. I was told come to the front desk to get it. They bought it to me the second day. Had to use elevated furnace from my room. Had to walk outside and walk around in the heat. Other than that it was nice.
The people at the front desk were great. Check-in was super easy. The room was very dated. It was also not cleaned well. Lots of stuff on the floors, espexialty near the walls and around the bed fraims. Breakfast was ok. The best part was it was very close to Busch and Water Country.
There are some great things about this Hotel. First the location is right off the main road so it is very easy to get to where you need to go. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have been updated with new beds and USB chargers, and the pool is very nice. I found the bed clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good with excellent pancakes. For the overall price of the Hotel I would say it is a good deal.
They could make the stay better by going through the rooms and cleaning up the rough paint where a roller hit a door or in my room there was pain all over the front door. At some point the Elevators need to be overhauled or replaced. They show the age of the Hotel and are in rough shape. Where the TV is mounted to the wall, there is a box behind it and I think there is a large hole to the other room. I can hear people talking from behind the TV as if they were in my room. The WiFi did not quite reach my room.
Overall, it was a good value for the price of the room with friendly staff and I would stay again.
Nice hotel that is near the parks. Rooms are nice, pool is nice. Breakfast and parking are free⊠BIG bonus. Itâs not a Hilton, but itâs very user friendly, clean and easy!
I would not stay here again or recommend friends or family to stay. Room was dusty with spiderwebs on the outside of window, piece of tissue stuck in the peep hole. Hair in the shower like it was never cleaned and most places give you at least an extra roll or 2 of toilet paper, nope not this place. Also for breakfast, there was only one worker who had to constantly fill the food (was not her fault) but the tables were disgusting and travelers had to clean their own tables. Just overall dissappointed.
