Room smelled like animal piss. Floor was very sticky and smelly. Towels also did not smell good. Breakfast was very plain, no toasts only waffles and cereals were available. We always travel with our dog; therefore stay at animal friendly hotels. This was not a good choice⊠it was low in cost but we got what we paid for. Will never go again!
We stayed for a night on our way northward. The hostess was courteous and professional. She quickly confirmed our reservations and assigned us a room on the first floor. Upon entering the room, it was obvious to me that it was not ready for occupancy. Where there should be two double beds, there was one double bed and the framework for the second bed. I returned to the front desk to inform the hostess. She was disturbed that room was listed as ready to use, but she quickly assigned us another room on the first floor on the other side of the hotel. The second room was complete and operational, however, it was not handicap accessible. My mom is in a wheelchair, so it was one of the reasons I booked this location. The bathroom was small, but we were able to navigate it. The air conditioner in this room was quite noisy, but we were too tired to stop us from resting. The room was in need of a handyman's touch. The shower curtain rail was pulling away from the wall and the paper roll holder appeared to be recently reattached, but not finished.
