The pictures must have been taken 10-20 years ago. This place is a dump. It smells so bad inside the rooms and outside the hotel. I bought febreeze to spray carpets with so I could stand it for a little bit. It seems to be a sort of longterm stay for the riffraff. The pimps and drug dealers will keep you up all night. And I believe they let pay by the hour type stuff happen. I left my reservation early as this place is just horrible.
This hotel was a large disappointment. We paid $70 and $75 respectively for 2 days. I realize this is not much, but considering the condition of the hotel, this was way over priced.
The place seems to be mostly people living there. There was 3 what looked to be blood stains on the comforter. The fitted sheet had lost its elastisity and came off repeatedly during the night. My husband's pillow smelled like head sweat so badly we had to remove it from the bed.
The door to our room was super loud and hard to shut and hard to open. I had to throw my weight against the door to open it. The lock on the door wiggled. I thought it might actually come off in my hands. Also, the security chain on the door did not work.
The curtain tracks were not lined up and to keep the curtains closed I had to prop stuff up against them.
The paint on the corridor ceiling was crumbling off in huge chunks and our towel rack was about 2 inches from being level. The "patio" chairs had ripped off material on the seats. To the point that you would go right through it if you actually tried to sit on them. The frames were really beat up and bent.
One more thing that kind if grossed me out was the coffee pot was located in the bathroom..
The room had a stale "had been smoked in" odor, and was in need of a quality upgrade. The exterior walls are of the aluminum frame, glass type that move when you close the door hard and fail to minimize outside noises and conversations.
I think a prison would have been better. I paid 130$ to stay in a Smokey room with stains everywhere. The bed was wrapped in plastic and the worst bed I have ever slept on not in. I was in the army and I would not wish this place on our POWS. The manger that checked me in asked what was wrong with me that I needed a service dog. The dog has all the proper paperwork and was presented at check in. Nobody that owns a business should treat or act that way. I should know I own 3 stores in a favorite Michigan franchise. I would ask for my money back but I did stay here spider bites I guess where free. So there's a plus!
Just not clean at all. Towels looked dirty, bathroom door was rusted in spots and didn't close all the way. I've traveled all over when I was working and I honestly can't recall too many other places like this. I didn't think it was going to be bad since I've stayed at Travel Lodges before !
Sorry !!
P.S. Went out to eat breakfast, since their "Continental Breakfast" was more of a snack then a breakfast
It was a very seedy looking location. I was very nervous staying there. I tried to find a different hotel once I arrived but everything in town was booked. I will never go back to this location. People just hanging around outside the motel all night long.
This place was a dump nasty dirty paint falling off the celling wall plugs on outside of wall microwavie all beat up you should really take it off your list of places to stay i douth if i will be booking with you anymore
