The hotel is one of a few decent branded hotels in my son's college town. I reserved the room because it had 2 queen beds in case my son wanted to stay, but the room was also pet friendly. However, the room smelled heavily of smoke. The rest of the stay was fine, breakfast was OK, just still have that raunchy stale smokey hotel room scent in my nostrils.
The facility and guest room were clean and well-maintained. Everything worked! Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was comfortable except the pillows which were too small, and I am not a fan of pet-friendly in the context of lodging facilities.
The staff was very polite and the public areas of the hotel were fine. The room was not. The toilet had not been flushed, so it obviously hadn't been cleaned since the last guest. The coffee maker had some sort of sludgy moldy substance where you would put the water in. It looked like someone had poured coffee (or something) back thru instead of water. It had been left this way for some time and was not usable.
needed an overnite stay at a pet friendly hotel and this hotel served that purpose. Staff was great. Room was fine- bathroom was dated and needs updating.
