I thought this was a great hotel, pet friendly, good breakfast and very reasonably priced. My only issue was someone across the hall, left their dog alone and it barked, but that really was not.
No complaints. Perfect. Checkin was a breeze. Property is in good shape.
Breakfast was very good with lots of options.
And real close to Glenwood hot springs pools.
Clean room; need for towel hooks in the bathroom instead of a photo; breakfast buffet ok, need more fresh fruits like bananas; staff are polite but needs more knowledge on local transportation services, one lady gave us wrong information, she didn't know about the free buses and the $1 on-demand ride services.
Good location you can walk to many popular attractions and restaurants.
Overall good stay.
This hotel was certainly adequate for our needs and Glenwood Springs is lovely. Lots of guests staying there, due to the holiday and local sports tournaments, so itâs surprising that it wasnât any noisier. The small indoor pool was clean as was the jacuzzi. We especially liked the bathroom and the large lighted mirror and walk-in shower.
highly recommend definitely a step above what's available there for the price. centrally located easy to walk to all the favorite spots. village inn is right next door.
There was a dog that barked non stop for what seemed like hours...I think he was left alone but he stopped when his owner got back! Everything else was great!! Thanks so much! â€ïž
This is my second experience with a La Quinta in the past couple years. I used to be really reluctant to book in this brand, but this hotel is NICE. The pool is tiny - about the size of two hot tubs. But the workout room is large and even offers open space and mats if you want to do yoga.
The bed was super comfy with lots of pillows. The bathroom was nice. Everything is nice and modern.
The breakfast stays open till 10am, which is a bonus. And they have a lot more selections than at most hotels. My fav was the eggs cooked with peppers, onions and sausage and the real green chile.
The breakfast is also well laid out, so people aren't stepping on each other. And there's a LOT of seating available.
My only gripe would be that the room is really small, so an extended stay for 2 people would be sub-optimal. But otherwise, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again.
